Terms of Use & Privacy Policy 

Welcome to the New Jersey Wage Hub! The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (the "Department") and/or its agents/contractors will use data submitted for both the Prevailing Wage Act and the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act to protect workers' rights and ensure New Jersey is a fair and equitable place to work. We are taking every precaution, including making our best efforts to comply with all relevant state and federal laws and regulations related to privacy, to ensure that the information provided is as secure as possible. 

You must be 18 years or older to use the New Jersey Wage Hub. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms a part of the New Jersey Wage Hub Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, share, and use the information you provide in connection with the New Jersey Wage Hub. As used in this Privacy Policy, the term "personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could be associated or linked with an inDialogContentTextidual. 

How We Collect, Share, and Use Your Information 

When you register for the New Jersey Wage Hub, we collect information about you and your organization, including contact information and the personally identifiable information about your employees required for submitting certified payroll such as name, job title, demographic information, and wages and benefits paid. We also collect information related to your public works contracts, including the name and location of the project, awarding agency, award amount, and contract effective dates.

We use this information, in combination with other information from existing Department data sources such as information submitted through the contractor registration process or to Employer Access to create a centralized way for contractors and public bodies to submit public works project information and access certified payrolls related to those projects, all "qualifying service" providers to submit annual equal pay act forms, and ensure that submitted data is in formats that can be easily searched, analyzed, and combined with other administrative data sources for investigative and strategic enforcement functions. 

In connection with that process, and with your consent, agree that the Department and/or its contractors and partners may contact you and/or send you communications which may include, without limitation: important information regarding the status or confirmation of submission of certified payroll records pertaining to your public works contracts or submission of the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act form.

Without limiting the permissions above, by providing your phone number you specifically agree to allow the Department to contact you which may include, without limitation: important information regarding the status or confirmation of submission of certified payroll records pertaining to your public works contracts or submission of the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act form.

Likewise, by providing your email, you specifically agree to allow the Department to send you email communications which may include, without limitation: important information regarding the status or confirmation of submission of certified payroll records pertaining to your public works contracts or submission of the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act form.

Other Information Uses and Sharing 

In addition to the sharing and uses discussed above, we may also use and share the information you provide as reasonably necessary to comply with law or a legal process (including a court or government order or subpoena); to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; to enforce this Privacy Policy; to protect the rights, property or safety of the Department, our users, and/or the public; or otherwise with your express consent. 

Online Tracking and Cookies 

The Department may use online tracking technologies on the New Jersey Wage Hub through the use of first party cookies and/or third-party cookies to track and analyze users' use of the New Jersey Wage Hub, determine the value of certain features and functionality, and better understand online activity to improve overall experience for users. By submitting your information and accessing the New Jersey Wage Hub, you consent to the collection and use of your information for these purposes. 

Changes in This Privacy Policy 

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy on a regular basis. Your continued use of the New Jersey Wage Hub following any modifications constitutes your agreement to such changes.
